Student Exchange
The regular exchange programme provides opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students from all countries for one semester or a full academic year. However, depending on the student arrangement or institutional agreement the exchange visits may exceed one academic year. At the end of each exchange session credits are transferred to home universities. The objective of this programme is to expose international as well as Kenyatta University students to international socio-academic and cross cultural milieu.

Staff Exchange
Faculty exchange is designed to provide interactive platforms that are academically and culturally enriching to the participants. The overall objective is to motivate and intellectually stimulate the faculty and hence address aspects of staff development programmes of collaborating institutions.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR KENYATTA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Through our active collaboration with Volda University, Norway and Nagasaki University, Japan, the two institutions have been offering scholarships to Kenyatta University students for full degree programme as well as two semester exchange. Relevant departments have now forwarded names of nominated students to the Linkages Board which have so far been sent to Volda University for selection. On the other hand, students are competing for Nagasaki University scholarships which are open to all.

The Linkages Board office received Prof Kim Won Duck of Kangwon National University, South Korea and Prof Odd Hunnes, who had come for more discussions on how to improve the exchange programme and other opportunities for both students and faculty.
