The official opening of the Annual World Teachers Day is scheduled on Monday 7th October, 2024 at the Amphitheatre from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Chief Guest will be Dr. James Njogu the Secretary General/Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO.
This is therefore to kindly inform you that the morning classes on Monday, 7th August 2024 from 8:30 a.m. have been cancelled to allow you to attend the official opening by the Vice-Chancellor at the Amphitheatre from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. All School of Education and Lifelong Learning students are encouraged to attend the event.

3. Eduroam Wi-Fi
- How to connect to Eduroam.
- Certificate related issues.
- Connection limits per account.
- Sharing Wi-Fi passwords.
4. ICT Support Helpdesk
- How to raise a support ticket.
- How to review and escalate logged tickets.
- How to review Knowledgebase Articles and rate them.
5. In-house Academic Systems
- Inter School Transfer.
- Student Course Evaluation.
- Hostel Application.
- Application for Semester-Off.
- Student Clearance.
6. Navigating KU’s Social Media Channels and the University Website

- Tiktok
All first year students are hereby informed to avail themselves for the above mandatory training that will be taking place at the Student Computer Centre (SCC) IT Laboratories and the Business and Student Services Centre (BSSC) IT Computer Laboratories.
Additional sensitization will also be done on our Notice Boards and Social Media platforms and the University website.
